We are located in a privileged geographic site, where there are many
options: we have one of the best beaches in the country, with a tradition of good taste and unique atmosphere. There is the chance to practice windsurf and kite surf in breathtaking sceneries, walk in places with centuries of history behind them like Caminha and Vila Nova da Cerveira, which is well known for it’s varied cultural events that include the Contemporary Art Exhibition. You can also walk through places where time literally stopped – you’ll feel the steps of your ancestors – like Vilar de Mouros and Valença or Monção.
We cannot forget that Minho is particularly known for it’s hospitality and the way in which it’s gastronomy presents itself. In the surroundings of the Casa da Eira the options for restaurants are many and the reflect this characteristic of Minho in a splendid way, not just with well known meat dishes, but also taking advantage of the nearby sea, you can taste magnificent fish dishes prepared in the most unusual ways.
